I can't delete a service
Why delete is blocked — and the deactivate option that does what you want.
You tap delete on a service and Mila won't do it. Nothing is broken — the service has appointment history.
Why it's blocked
Past appointments point at the service they were for. Deleting the service would leave those appointments — and your revenue records — referring to something that no longer exists. Rather than corrupt your history, Mila refuses, and offers to deactivate instead.
What to do
Deactivate it. A deactivated service:
- disappears from your booking page — clients can't book it,
- stops appearing when you book appointments,
- keeps every past appointment and payment record intact,
- can be reactivated later if you change your mind.
From the client's point of view, deactivated and deleted are identical. The only difference is your history survives.
When can you delete?
A service that has never been booked — created by mistake, duplicate, test entry — deletes normally.
