1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Mila platform at milabook.com (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Mila is a business management platform designed for lash artists and beauty professionals. The Service provides appointment booking, client management, payment processing, notifications, and education tools. Mila acts as a platform connecting lash artists (“Artists”) with their clients (“Clients”) and is not itself a provider of lash or beauty services.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account by contacting support@milabook.com.
4. Subscription and Payments
Artists may subscribe to paid plans to access premium features. Subscription fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By using payment features, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. Mila does not store credit card information on its servers.
5. SMS/Text Messaging Terms
Program name: Mila Appointment Notifications
Description: When you book an appointment or provide your phone number through the Service, you may receive text messages related to your appointments, including booking confirmations, appointment reminders, cancellation notices, rebooking prompts, and follow-up messages.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your appointment activity. You may receive up to 5 messages per appointment.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates may apply to messages you receive.
Opt-out: You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. No additional messages will be sent unless you re-opt in.

Supported carriers: The Service is compatible with most major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. Appointments and Services
Mila facilitates the booking of appointments between Artists and Clients. We are not a party to any agreement between Artists and Clients regarding the provision of services.
Artists are solely responsible for the quality of their services, their pricing, cancellation policies, and compliance with applicable laws and licensing requirements.
7. Education Platform
Artists may create and sell educational content (courses, tutorials, digital products) through the Service. Artists retain ownership of their educational content and are solely responsible for its accuracy and quality.
Mila charges a platform fee on education sales as outlined in the applicable subscription plan. Refund policies for educational content are set by the individual Artist.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Upload malicious code or content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts
- Use the Service to send unsolicited messages or spam
9. Intellectual Property
The Mila name, logo, and platform design are the property of Mila and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Artists retain ownership of their content, including portfolio images, course content, and business information uploaded to the platform.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mila shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting support@milabook.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
