Block time and one-off open slots

Make yourself unavailable, or open a bookable slot outside your normal hours.

Your weekly working hours handle the routine. These two tools handle the exceptions.

Block time (make yourself unavailable)

Going to a training day, a dentist appointment, or on vacation? Block the time so clients can't book it:

  1. On the Today tab, tap + in the header.
  2. Choose to block time.
  3. Block a whole day, or just part of one by picking the hours.

Blocked time shows on your Today view and calendar. If you need to remove a block, tap it and delete it.

If a client appointment already exists in the time you're trying to block, the app warns you about the conflict — blocking time doesn't cancel existing appointments.

One-off open slots (bookable time outside your hours)

The reverse case: you normally don't work Sundays, but you'll take a client this Sunday.

  1. On the Today tab, tap + in the header.
  2. Choose to add an available slot.
  3. Pick the date and time range.

That time becomes bookable — by clients on your booking page and by you — without changing your weekly hours.

When to use which

  • Recurring change (you now work Saturdays)? Change your working hours.
  • One-time exception? Use a block or a one-off slot.
