Getting paid — payouts, revenue, and reports
Where your money goes and where to see how business is doing.
Payouts
Card payments (and deposits, gift cards, and course sales) are processed by Stripe into your Stripe account, then paid out to your bank on Stripe's normal payout schedule — typically a couple of business days after the charge. Mila never holds your money. Payout timing and bank details are managed in Stripe itself; start from Settings → Payment Methods on the dashboard.
Cash, Zelle, PayPal, and Venmo payments were never in Mila's hands — they're recorded for reporting only.
Revenue at a glance — the Business tab
The Business tab in the mobile app shows revenue for today, yesterday, this week, this month, this year, or a custom range, plus your recent transactions. Periods are calculated consistently — comparing "this month so far" compares against the same slice of last month, not the whole thing.
Every transaction — the dashboard ledger
Transactions on the dashboard is the full ledger: every payment with its method, tip, discounts, refunds, and status. It's also where you issue refunds, and you can export for your accountant.
Deeper analysis — Reports
Reports on the dashboard breaks revenue down over time — including course revenue if you sell education. Remember only checked-out (completed) appointments count as revenue: unpaid appointments aren't income yet, no matter how booked your calendar looks.
