Check out an appointment

Take payment and complete the appointment in one flow.

Checkout is how an appointment gets paid and marked completed — the two always happen together, which keeps your revenue records honest.

The flow

  1. Open the appointment on the Today tab and tap Checkout.
  2. Review the charges. The service price is there; any deposit the client already paid is applied automatically, so the amount due is only what's left.
  3. Add anything extra:
  4. Pick how they're paying: enter a card, charge their saved card on file, or record Cash, Zelle, PayPal, or Venmo.
  5. Charge. You'll see a confirmation with the total, tip, and method, the appointment is marked completed, and the client gets a receipt by email.

Good to know

  • If the total works out to $0 (say, a comped visit or fully covered by deposit), checkout still completes the appointment — it just charges nothing.
  • Card payments require Stripe to be connected; recording cash/Zelle/PayPal/Venmo works regardless.
