Add and edit clients
Create client records, keep contact details current, and handle SMS consent.
Every person you work on gets a client record — their contact details, appointment history, notes, photos, and saved card all hang off it.
Add a client
Mobile app: go to the Clients tab and tap + New client. Enter first and last name, phone, and email. You can also add a client mid-booking — the new-appointment flow has a + New client option that returns you right to the booking.
Dashboard: open Clients in the sidebar and add from there.
Clients also create themselves: when someone books on your booking page for the first time, a client record is created automatically.
SMS consent
The SMS consent checkbox on a client's record controls whether Mila may text them (appointment reminders, notifications). Only tick it when the client has actually agreed to receive texts — it's their consent, not a preference of yours. Clients booking themselves are asked for consent during booking. No consent means no texts, even if your reminder settings are on — email is used where available instead.
Edit a client
Open the client from the Clients tab, edit their details, and save. Keeping phone and email current is what keeps reminders and receipts reaching them.
